Let me start by thanking you for taking the time to consider my services.  I want to take a moment and introduce myself.  

 

Hi, I am Dimitri The Mage, a professional magician.  

 

I have been performing all over the United States for almost 30 years.  My love of being on stage began when I was only four years old, on stage with my parents' band. I loved singing with my mother.

 

When I turned eight I became interested in magic.  It started with a simple magic kit pictured to the left that my parents bought me for my birthday.  I read every magic book I could get my hands on and bored my father to tears with my constant, "Here Dad, pick a card."  

 

Jump ahead two years and my Dad came home after a trip to a magic shop with a 30 minute magic show (at least he had enough tricks for me to learn a 30 minute magic show).  I was 10 years old and ready to be a professional magician.

 

It started with birthday parties for my friends and now almost 30 years later here I am living my dream and following my passion.

 

I relocated to Saint Louis, MO from Minnesota several years ago and just love the wealth of talented people that are here.

 

I have had the pure pleasure of performing for countless family and childhood celebrations, renaissance festivals, and even the International Special Olympics.  I have to admit performing at the Special Olympics was the most rewarding experience even though it was volunteer.  The absolute look of wonder on the kid’s faces was the best compensation I could ever ask for.

 

I offer many services:  Customized performances either on stage or close-up / walk around,   private lessons, consultation for stage or film, and master of ceremonies.
